The Geordie detective, who leads the Vera cast, has two complex cases left to solve before season 11 comes to a close. If you're a devoted fan of the show, you'll know that the final cases are set to be anything but straightforward and these final episodes are certainly not going to be an easy ride for her, with both of them likely to test her to her limit.
Fans of the Geordie detective will be pleased to have her back on screen this January, but the first two stories are actually from season 11 so technically season 12 will kick off on Sunday 29th January at 8pm on ITV1.

Disappointing TLC news today has fans wondering if Season 11 of My 600-Lb. Life is already over. Did the new season come to an end without fans even realizing it? Tv Shows Ace took a closer look as an avid follower of the TLC series.
Fortunately, one thing TLC does usually do is follow a pattern. The network is pretty consistent when it comes to the number of episodes they air in a season of the show. Now, the last few seasons of My 600-Lb. Life were hindered by COVID-19. But, the episode count can still offer fans some information on what to expect. Season 9 of My 600-Lb. Life was 13 episodes long and Season 10 was 15 episodes long. So, it seems unlikely that Season 11 would be wrapped up at just 8 episodes long.
At best, fans can expect anywhere from seven to eight more episodes. At worst, fans should still expect four to five more episodes. Either way, the break in the schedule is likely a midseason pause while they catch up on filming and production.

Season 11 marks the 10th anniversary of the series, with the first episode Super Mario 64 Bloopers Short: The Cake Is a Lie!, uploaded on May 7, 2011. The season kicked off with SMG4: Mario goes to subway and purchases 1 tuna sub with extra mayo, continuing the trend of being a "shitpost" episode at the start of the year, followed by SMG4: The Intruder... and SMG4: The Resurrection, with the latter showing Mario trying, but ultimately failing, to revive Greg The Alien. This was followed by SMG4: Stupid Bowser's Fury and SMG4: Mario VS Youtubers, with the latter continuing into SMG4: The Pursuit of Happiness as Meggy Spletzer tries to find something to do with her life, with SMG4's Gang suggesting that she should take a vacation to Port Aurora. She temporarily leaves the gang in her own spinoff series, Sunset Paradise. Meanwhile, Mario, Bowser, Luigi, Toad, and the other Nintendo characters come into conflict with Sony in SMG4: Nintendo Gets Deleted.
In additon, Luigi, Tari, Fishy Boopkins, Shroomy and Saiko (who was previously a recurring character in the last season) appear in less videos than before, a surprising fact considering their near-perfect inclusion rate in previous seasons to the point of being reduced to minor characters.
The eleventh season saw major censorship in its episodes, particularly in China where it is unofficially uploaded on bilibili due to the Great Firewall banning YouTube. The episode Into the Dark Web saw heavy censorship to comply with bilibili's Creative Treaty and guidelines from China's Ministry of Public Security. The result shortened the episode's original length from 13 minutes to 8 minutes, as of which the mere mention of the Dark Web was censored, with the episode retitled as Enter The Mystery (进入神秘之处), with the mention of VPNs and gore were cut. 041b061a72
